Gilbert Orta Portillo

Gilbert is currently a PhD student at University of Southern California in the Health Behavior Research program. He is under the mentorship of Dr. Ricky Bluthenthal and Dr. Jeffrey Klausner. He is interested in HIV and AIDS prevention, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) linkage, and stigma reduction interventions among marginalized and vulnerable communities. He received his B.A. in Anthropology from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and his MPH from University of Southern California with a concentration in community health promotion.
