Natalie Saremi
Research Assistant
Natalie Saremi is a Research Assistant. She received a Bachelor’s in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at University of Southern California. During her time in undergrad, she had the opportunity to focus on research surrounding HPV, which sparked her interest in population health, health equity, and advocacy. Natalie’s main area of research is genital herpes, and she is currently analyzing studies looking at the performance of HSV Enzyme Immunoassays versus the Western Blot in order to elucidate barriers of diagnostic testing. She also works closely with the Herpes Cure Advocacy, which is an advocacy group with the goal of prevention, treatment, and cure of HSV types 1 and 2. Natalie is particularly interested in infectious disease and plans to become a physician in the future.
