On January 22nd, 2023, Emily A. Reyes quoted our published research in her Los Angeles Times article, “Fewer Medi-Cal patients got crucial treatment for hepatitis C amid pandemic”

Our student researcher, Cassidy Hernandez-Tamayo, MPH is first author on this research letter, titled “COVID-19 Pandemic Associated Declines and Subsequent Increases in Hepatitis C Virus Treatment Prescriptions in Los Angeles County” which was accepted for publication into the Journal of Clinical Infectious Diseases. Cassidy is currently pursuing her PhD in Epidemiology at USC.
